The plant has been able to exceed the rated capacity consistently. Up-time has been achieved with the help of KOBELCO – PPRM Ultra Heavy Duty Block Mill specially designed for the production of TMT rebars. The 6 stand Block Mill in Shree Steel can produce ø 8mm to ø 20 mm. They have not needed to change even one white metal beaning in the last 3 years of mill operations while almost 80% of their production is via Block Mill.
The lubrication system of this Block Mill has got 3 strong filtration systems. There have been no breakdowns whatsoever with the exception of planned preventive maintenance.
The plant is consistently achieving 40 tons/hr rated capacity and 8mm finished through Block Mill at speeds of 28mps.

Block Mill installed at Shree Steel features white metal bearing, procured directly from DAIDO, Japan, which is an internationally recognized name. DAIDO supplied white Metal is widely famed for its long life. In general, it’s likely to last 15 to 20 times more than other run-of-the-mill white metal.
Continuing its legacy of eminence, PPRM delivers rolling mill to Shree Steel with gearbox bearing from SKF/FAG, European Origin. Gearbox bearings from this supplier are cost-effective, known for better longevity, and quick operations. These bearings are directly procured from the original bearing manufacturer & not from traders since PPRM is an OEM Company.
